MomsFirst is a health-focused social venture working to prevent maternal deaths caused by postpartum hemorrhage (PPH) in rural Nepal.
We empower Female Community Health Volunteers (FCHVs) to deliver misoprostol—an essential, lifesaving medicine—directly to pregnant women in their homes. By providing training, reliable supply chains, and antenatal counseling, we bring critical care to the doorstep of underserved mothers.
Our mission is to make safe motherhood a reality for every woman, no matter where she lives. Starting in Province 1, our goal is to scale across Nepal—reaching 50,000 women in five years and cutting PPH rates in half.
We believe no mother should die giving life.
