The Monash Centre for Global Peace and Security (formerly Monash Gender, Peace and Security) seeks to advance inclusive and transformative approaches to global peace and security challenges. Our ambition is to mobilise research to prevent or end conflict and (re)build thriving communities that are free of threat and insecurity.
Our research informs scholarly debate, policy development and implementation, and public understanding about the complex nature of insecurity and the search for peace. In addition to research with international, government and industry partners, community-engagement with civil society, and academic publications, Monash GPS academics engage in undergraduate and graduate teaching, executive education and PhD supervision.
