The cable car departure station is in Rivera, in the centre of the Canton of Ticino. After a pleasant 20-minute ride you will find yourself at 1,530 m asl, where you find a self-service restaurant serving typical Ticino cuisine with a spacious terrace, the Church Santa Maria degli Angeli, designed by architect Mario Botta, the Coaster bobs, a Zip line and a great playground. Alpe Foppa is the starting point for many scenic hikes and exciting mountain bike trails and has an E-Bike charging station.
An intermediate station is located between Rivera and Alpe Foppa. Here you can let yourself go by climbing among the centuries-old beech trees of this beautiful forest. Once you have finished your trail, you can recharge your batteries at the Snack Bar and decide whether to return to the valley on foot or by cable car.
