Mooctors is the first tutoring marketplace that lets adult learners attending online courses to book private tutors online.
We aim to bring together students in need of help to graduate their online courses and industry professionals willing to help as private tutors, in their free time for a fee, and earn an extra income.
Out target market is the Massive Online Open Courses (MOOCs). The problem is that MOOCs students do not have access to meaningful and effective help contributing to a huge dropout rate of 85%.
MOOCTORS provides personalized help for a fee when need it most (ad-hock/scheduled) and is up to 280x faster than alternative forms of help such as student-forums. We use AI to empower tutors' work by providing supportive content that matches student’s inquires for help, while simultaneously training our AI tutoring agents from tutor feedback and student-tutor interaction. In the near future our AI tutoring agents will interact directly with students creating an ultra scalable business to serve millions of students.
