Moose & Maple is a Canadian export start-up dedicated to introducing Japan to the diverse world of Canadian craft beverages — beginning with small-batch beer and eventually expanding into craft spirits.
Founded in Edmonton, Alberta, our mission is to build cultural and commercial bridges between independent Canadian producers and curious, quality-seeking Japanese consumers. We seek out breweries and distilleries that value authenticity, innovation, and sustainability — and we work with them to make their products export-ready for one of the world’s most discerning markets.
Our approach is grounded in mutual respect and thoughtful adaptation. We integrate principles such as omotenashi (wholehearted hospitality), kaizen (continuous improvement), and genchi genbutsu (going to the source) into every aspect of our business — from how we build supplier relationships to how we prepare product translations and educate import partners.
