Morrison Scotch Whisky Distillers is solely owned and operated by one of Scotland’s most prominent whisky families, Jamie and Brian Morrison. Our legacy reaches back to the 19th century when we started out as grocers but have since grown into whisky brokers, blenders, bottlers and of course, distillers. With over five generations involved in the whisky business, we are one of the oldest whisky families. In addition to our portfolio of whisky brands, we have also begun distilling again. In 2017, we opened a new single malt distillery in Aberargie, Perthshire. Aptly named Aberargie Distillery, it is located on our family’s 300 acre farm just outside of Perth and is a “barley to bottle” Distillery. It marks our return to distilling since Brian Morrison sold Morrison Bowmore Distillers - including Auchentoshan, Bowmore and Glen Garioch distilleries – to Japanese drinks group Suntory in 1994.
