The Mortiboys Lab is a research group within the Sheffield Institute for Translational Neuroscience (SITraN) at the University of Sheffield. We are committed to unravelling the complexities of mitochondrial dysfunction in neurodegenerative diseases, with a particular focus on Parkinson's disease. Our research spans from basic mechanisms of mitochondrial biology to the development of novel therapeutic strategies. We employ a range of cutting-edge techniques, including cell culture models, molecular biology, and drug screening.
