Motus Technical Academy opened its doors in Cape Town in in 2008 with the aim of addressing the skills shortage in the Automotive industry. Following the success of the Cape Town venture, the Germiston Academy opened in Gauteng in 2009. At the Motus Technical Academy (MTA) we design, deliver and manage tailored learning solutions across South Africa, setting the benchmark for apprenticeship training in the automotive sector. We meet industry’s technical skills requirements, delivering apprentices who are workplace ready and able to meet any challenge that comes their way. Our training is aligned with the latest developments and innovations in modern vehicle technology. MTA offers relevant, practical, job-related training, as well as a range of short courses. This makes us the “go to” training academy for apprentices and artisans. Our training is a combination of world-class theoretical learning and practical hands-on training in workshops, enabling the application of new skills learned. At MTA, we understand the industry’s skills needs and demands and work with them to deliver ongoing training and skills development, increasing the performance of your team members in the automotive sector.
