A New York State Registered Apprenticeship - three-year apprenticeship brings a new generation of incoming fleet technicians into the public/private transportation with automotive shop training and additional training for Diesel and alternate fuel technologies. --Vetted and State-Certified Mechanics Ready to Hire NYMAP provides our apprentices with an additional three years of professional training, bringing them up to full fleet technician, able to service your legacy and incoming fleet vehicles. --NYS Tax Credit Available Receive up to $6,000 in tax credits per apprentice through the Empire State Apprenticeship Tax Credit. --Partnerships Our partners include Bronx Community College Center for Automotive Technology, the Consortium of Worker Education, The International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers, the New York State Department of Labor, the Trucking Association of New York (TANY), and Calstart.
