MPK – Łódź Spółka z o.o. [Limited Liability Company] is a company of commercial law, operating under appropriate regulations, especially the Deed of Association. The quality management system certified in 2003 for conformity with PN-EN ISO 9001:2001, and then renewed in 2006 for the following three years, is functioning in the Company. Operating activity includes transport tasks, which are conducted under the agreement with the Road and Transportation Management in Łódź specifying number of kilometres to be run over, kind of transport means as well as pay level for provided services. This agreement also determines the rules of selling tickets of local societal communication by the company. MPK – Łódź Spółka z o.o. is one of the substantial distributors of single tickets and exclusive distributor of season tickets. Ticket sale is arranged through ticket sale outlets, vending machines fitted in tram’s carriages operating line and by the drivers of the vehicles. This enterprise is performing also ticket control tasks.
