LuxOR is the operational research and epidemiology unit of Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF). Based in Luxembourg, with staff in Brussels, Beirut, and other MSF offices, we support MSF field teams in turning operational challenges into research questions. Our work helps generate evidence to improve humanitarian medical action and patient care in crisis settings.
Alongside conducting studies, LuxOR helps strengthen research and epidemiology capacity across MSF. We offer technical support for data collection and analysis, and contribute to policy and advocacy efforts. To promote learning across the humanitarian sector, we share findings through scientific journals and open-access platforms.
