The story of Mumu began in 2020, in the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic. The founders, two brothers, missed sharing meals with family and friends, especially the cherished dinner parties where bowls of Taiwanese beef noodle soup brought comfort and nostalgia. Driven by this longing, they decided to share their family’s treasured recipe with the world, allowing people to connect over food, even if only virtually. Just as art and cinema tell stories across generations, Mumu believes that dining has the power to bridge time and bring people together.
At Mumu, we’re a group of creators crafting beautifully told stories through the experience of eating. Our flagship product, Taiwanese Beef Noodle Soup, brings a quick, delicious taste of Taiwan into your home. While Taiwanese cuisine isn’t as widely recognized in America as Japanese ramen or Vietnamese pho, we see this as an opportunity to introduce something new and beloved. This recipe is inspired by our mom’s comforting dish, a taste of home we’re excited to share with you.
We also offer our Oolong Tea Noodle with Tofu in a Daikon Mushroom Broth, a vegetarian favorite that has earned rave reviews for its distinct umami layers and unique flavors. The oolong tea noodles, imported from Taiwan, bring a subtle tea-infused taste that’s unlike anything else on the market.
