Munarra Centre for Regional Excellence is a world-class education, sporting and public gathering space that celebrates our nation and its oldest living culture. Munarra Centre for Regional Excellence is a First Peoples-led pathways-based education centre – the first of its kind in Australia - delivering culturally responsive education, employment, health and wellbeing initiatives. While the name and the design embodies the idea of renewal, its form is also inspired by the many elements that make up this land and sky; a recognition that many stories and experiences shape spaces and places. The centre is a space for all to reflect and grow, connect and create, and discover. And it will do all that while driving economic opportunity and creating jobs.
