About Us: MUNStar-1 is a pioneering initiative, marking its first year of operation as a student-led venture into the realm of CubeSat technology at Memorial. Our focus is on innovating and exploring the possibilities of small satellite technology across various sectors. MUNStar-1 operates across the following critical subsystems: Mechanical: This subsystem is dedicated to the structural integrity of MUNStar-1, focusing on the design, 3D modeling, and assembly of the satellite's frame to ensure proper fit and function of all components. Mission Control System (MCS): Central to our operations, the MCS oversees all satellite subsystems.
