Ryan Murray trained as a mediator and arbitrator as part of his LL.M. from Osgoode Hall Law School (2013) in Civil Litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution. Ryan also holds a B.A. Honours from York University (2000) and an LL.B. from Osgoode Hall Law School (2003). Ryan has been a Certified Specialist in Civil Litigation by the Law Society of Upper Canada since 2014.
Prior to entering the field of dispute resolution, Ryan worked as a lawyer for over 12 years representing both injured plaintiffs and insurance companies. Most recently, he was a partner at Oatley Vigmond Personal Injury Lawyers LLP. His previous experience includes working with a respected Toronto insurance defence firm and in the legal department of a major Canadian property and casualty insurance company.
Ryan was recognized in 2016/17 as "Repeatedly Recommended" in the Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory"® in the area of Personal Injury - Represents Plaintiffs. He was also named as one of the "Best Lawyers in Canada"™ in 2016/2017 in the field of Personal Injury Litigation.
