European Young Museologists Link (EYML) is a space dedicated to the training and development of young professionals, with the goal of generating a positive impact on the museum sector. It emerges as a response to the structural precariousness affecting museums and the need to drive change from multiple perspectives. Its purpose is to create a meeting point that strengthens the role of young people in museology and in today’s society. EYML advocates for a museology that places museums at the heart of society and public debate, overcoming their traditional institutional isolation. We believe that museums must take on an active role as agents of social transformation, fostering dialogue, inclusion, and citizen participation. Our community is open to all interested individuals and is designed to reflect the diversity of perspectives and levels of engagement among its members, ensuring inclusive and effective participation within the museum sector.
