EDUCATION IS RAPIDLY CHANGING. MOUNT VERNON IS LEADING THE CHARGE. Mount Vernon School Online (MVSO) is a virtual independent school serving grades 9 - 12 with a mission to design a better world, together. Across the entire Mount Vernon School Organization, which includes our Atlanta-based K – 12 School, Mount Vernon Ventures, our R&D lab, and MVSO – research is a key component. MVSO is fueled by ongoing research on AI, Web3, Mental Health, and Belonging just to name a few important, relevant topics influencing our program. We pair an inquiry-based learning (IBL) approach with a design thinking process to guide students to be solution seekers and problem solvers through work that has direct application to an actual challenge
