Who Are We? MyLearningCoach consists of a team of educational professionals who provide virtual individualized support to post-secondary students. We guide students to obtain full access to the resources, strategies and skills necessary for academic success. Who Do We Support? We work with post-secondary students enrolled in various college, trade and university programs across Canada. We specialize in guiding students who experience barriers related to various disabilities or medical conditions that impact their learning. Many of the students we support experience barriers related to" - ADHD - Executive Functioning - Anxiety and Depression - Post Traumatic Stress Disorder - Learning Disabilities - Processing Speed - Resilience and Coping - Autism Spectrum Disorder - Brain Injury - Memory and Focus - Emotional Regulation and more. How Do We Support? We provide a variety of academic coaching and assessment services designed with the post-secondary student in mind. Our Academic Coaching Services Include: - Academic Strategy Instruction - Tutoring - Assistive Technology Consultation and Training - Note-Taking and Typist Support - Accessibility Advising (Learning Accommodations and Disability Grant Funding) - Academic Advising (Scholarships, Program Planning, Graduate School Applications) - Social-Behavioral Coaching - ADHD Coaching - Counselling and Therapy Our Assessment Services Include: - Educational-Psychological Assessments - ADHD Assessments - Mental Health Assessments - Autism Assessments MyLearningCoach services are often covered by the Canada Student Grant for Services and Equipment for Students with Disabilities (CSG-DSE). We often support students to access this funding! Our mission is to ensure post-secondary students have full access to an equitable education. MyLearningCoach services are designed to remove barriers and empower and support students in reaching their full academic potential.
