MyLittleBit

“MyLittleBit” (www.mylittlebit.in) is a philanthropic foundation which believes that everybody can contribute their small parts to make a giant impact to the world. MyLittleBit has been driving initiatives for societal impact with a focus on Education & Jobs for underprovided girls from 2010 onwards. The initiatives include (a) Setting up Computer Labs focusing on Programming Skills in Govt Schools & Colleges (b) Scholarships for Girls for Higher Education (c) Special Classes in STEM (Maths and Science) for Girls in 10th Grade (d) Uniform and Shoes Donation Drive for Rural & Remote Govt Schools (e ) Dreams Unlimited: A bridge for girls to enter the workforce via imparting 'Industry Ready Skills' and supporting placement in jobs The impact so far includes setting up Computer Labs and outreach in 5 schools impacting ~5000 students, Scholarships for ~60 girls to pursue Higher Education, Special classes for a batch of 10 girls every year for the last 5 years, Creating a Bridge to enter the Workforce with an Integrated Skill Development Program & placement for jobs for BA, BCom, BSc Girls in 5 colleges impacting 1750 students and 25 in jobs, ~55 K Sets of uniforms & 10K shoes collected from 15 private schools and distributed to more than 40 schools in rural Karnataka. The efforts are supported by charity drives from the larger community, corporate partners including DXC, Blue Prism, Veritas, etc.
