About MYMATCH Project

The MyMatch research and innovation project, funded by the Horizon Europe program, brings together 12 partners from 9 European countries to address food safety risks related to climate change. Focusing on mycotoxins produced by fungi such as Aspergillus, Fusarium, and Alternaria, MyMatch aims to predict and mitigate these risks, assess human and animal exposure, and implement effective risk management measures. The project will culminate in the creation of the AI Mycotoxin Management Platform, providing tailored predictions and recommendations to help researchers, farmers, industry stakeholders, and policymakers make informed decisions. MyMatch, adaptable to other contaminants, will be co-created with potential users like EFSA. This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon Europe research and innovation programme under grant agreement 101181208. Views and opinions expressed are however those of the author(s) only and do not necessarily reflect those of the European Union.
