You’re a leader with a lot going on. Maybe you’re a high-functioning executive and a barrier breaker. Maybe you manage employees or mentor younger professionals in your industry. You’re possibly active with a church, sorority, or other facets of your community, volunteering with organizations and serving on boards. But after experiencing a loss, it feels impossible to do all these things in your life. It’s hard to even walk out the front door. We’ve felt that way, too, which is why we’re creating a safe space for women leaders to plan and transition into their new life; because life is never the same again when loss happens. Miseria is a sacred community for women to be supported, seen, and heard in their grief. After years of global loss, from loved ones to careers to self, we’re offering intentional programming that will help women feel accepted, empowered, welcomed, and lifted up after experiencing a loss in their lives. We Offer End of Life Care & Planning too. We answer questions, ease anxieties, serve as guides, and advocate for autonomy and dignity. And death doulas aren’t only for the imminently dying. We assist people in all stages of life with advance care planning, resolving death anxiety, supporting grief, education and social justice activism, and other related issues.
