M.Y. Sculpture is an art and design studio that specialises in designing and curating public art installations and exhibitions. Under the guidance of its founder May Yeung, the studio fuses sculpture, dance, music, and other artistic mediums to explore the relationship between humans, art and nature.
Works and exhibitions by M.Y. Sculpture have been featured in both the east and the west, from Hong Kong and Shenzhen to Chicago and Frankfurt. These include "Citation", which was featured in Chicago Union Station in the U.S.; "Tsubame", which was featured at the French May Arts Festival in Hong Kong; "Ikigai", featured at the Papay Gyro Nights Arts Festival in Hong Kong, Shenzhen and Macao; "Musical Compass", featured at the Discovery Art Fair in Frankfurt, Germany, and more.
M.Y. Sculpture has also received numerous awards and accolades, including Max Palevsky Award (2010), Mina Ninagawa People’s Choice Award by Museum of Contemporary Art Taipei (2016), Top 10 Outstanding Young Artists Award and The Loop HK 30 under 30 Award (2019), Hong Kong Professional Elite Ladies Selection Award (2020), Youth Dream Makers Award (2021), and Golden Bauhinia Women Entrepreneur - Art and Culture Achievement Award and HK Cultural and Creative Industries Award (2024).
