Nano RED | Precision Medicine in a Pandemic & Beyond

Nano RED exists to bring the nanotechnology revolution to medicine. In the face of the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic, we have developed an entirely new platform to prevent and treat SARS-CoV-2, targeting key elements that are present across all variants of the virus. Our approach can shield the immunocompromised and most vulnerable, be deployed rapidly, and can be iterated to prevent and treat emerging respiratory viruses. This same platform can be adapted to treat common endemic respiratory viruses, including influenza and seasonal coronaviruses. We are exploring the platform as a tool to deliver enhanced immunotherapy strategies in the treatment of lung cancers. We are developing a second, complementary cancer immunotherapy platform. This precision delivery platform enables physicians to release therapies directly into tumors and the tumor microenvironment, sparing patients painful, potentially lifelong side effects. Our patented liposomes are injected into the bloodstream. An operator illuminates the tumor site with infrared light, triggering release of our therapeutic payload into the tumor. We are using our platform to develop the next generation of precisely delivered immunotherapies. Our patented, preclinically validated platform is capable of delivering small molecules and high molecular weight proteins efficiently and specifically to tumors.
