Ranked 1st in the UK and 9th globally for Marine/Ocean Engineering (ShanghaiRanking's Academic Ranking 2024), we specialize in the design, construction, and operation of marine vehicles and offshore structures. Our focus areas include naval architecture, ocean engineering, marine engineering, and sustainable maritime solutions.
Our students benefit from cutting-edge facilities, including towing/wave tanks, engine labs, virtual reality labs, and a full-mission ship bridge simulator. Hands-on learning is central to our programs, with opportunities for industry placements, real-world projects, and international experiences.
