Nawiri Child Development Programme

Nawiri Child Development Programme is a child-focused development organization that operates in Samburu, Isiolo and Marsabit Counties of the Republic of Kenya. It was elevated to NGO position after successfully carrying out program activities since 2017 under the then umbrella structure of Marsabit Cluster comprising of Isiolo, Archers Post, Marsabit and Maikona local sites. Generally, most parts of Marsabit, Samburu and Isiolo counties fall within the classified arid and semi-arid (ASAL) region of Kenya, being ASAL counties where Nawiri Child Development Programme, is faced with numerous environmental challenges among them recurrent drought that has contributed to serious loss of range bio-diversity, which Nawiri CDP is mitigating its effects through impactful community programmes.
