At the ‘econic earth foundation’ we're focused on environmental conservation through empowering students and communities with renewable energy solutions. Our focus program is the WATTS On Lighting Students Lives project with aim to reach 1M students. We work with schools and education directors to implement an impact program using solar lamps, and monitoring and evaluations throughout the year to research impact both at school and at home.
Through our media division we bring attention and focus to the programs and program partners by filming our collaborative installations and sharing their personal stories. We feature these films in festivals, online and in private screenings with Q&A afterwards. Currently our documentary film titled LIGHT is screening at festivals and events globally and touches on the unexpected impacts of solar light in students lives.
In addition to our on-site programs, we continue to support smaller non-profits around the World as well as educate on the need for sustainable lifestyles, renewable energy and the importance of balancing the eco-system for our own survival.
To date we have worked in India and Kenya doing a variety of solar based and education programs.
