The NBS Business Analytics Club (former BizIT Club), initially started out as the NBS-SCS Chapter was launched on 22 September 2004 with the signing of a memorandum of understanding between Nanyang Business School's (NBS) Executive Vice Dean, Professor Gillian Yeo and Singapore Computer Society's (SCS) President, Mr Lee Kwok Cheong (KC).
The NBS Business Analytics (BA) Club strives to promote and equip our members with IT knowledge, Data Analytic skills and Big Data Essentials, allowing them to become well rounded and well-equipped Data Analysts and Information System (IS) professionals sought after by the industry. At the BA club, we link our members to Business Analytics and IT Professionals out there in the marketplace, providing a resource of career advice and aid for our member’s future career development.
The club committee is currently in its 18th term and comprises of penultimate and final year undergraduates from the Business Analytics major. Our members consist of all undergraduates from the Business/Accountancy students pursuing a BA major as well as double degree students studying Business and Computing.
