NE Chapter of the International Assoc. of Auto Theft Investigators serves professionals involved in the field of vehicle theft investigation, insurance fraud and vehicle crimes in Northeastern USA and the Eastern Provinces of Canada. Today, NE-IAATI is composed of hundreds of active and retired law enforcement officers, insurance SIU investigators, vehicle fraud investigators, and automotive experts from both sides of the border.
The Northeast Regional Chapter received its charter from the International Association of Auto Theft Investigators (IAATI) on January 24, 1972. The founding charter members in their wisdom saw the present and future need of an organization which would serve those persons involved in the field of vehicle theft investigation in the Northeastern USA and the Eastern Provinces of Canada.
