Needlefresh Direct was formed by a group of like minded growers back in 1996. The aim was to secure a steady market for their trees into the future. The current board of Needlefresh is still made up of major growers, and it still aims to market trees direct to retailers in the manner of a co operative. In this way the grower is effectively dealing direct with the retailer without the need for a wholesaler or middle man.
Needlefresh suppliers over 650,000 trees within the UK each year, and over 90% of the trees supplied are UK produced.
