NEP Fire Fighter Foundation

The NEP Fire Fighter Foundation is a brand new 501(C)3 charitable foundation that will be supporting fire fighters in the areas of behavioral health and disaster relief. EIN#-87-0848485. Our new foundation will provide the funding for the delivery of peer support classes to members of fire service organizations that otherwise couldn't afford to provide the training. We will also be donating NEP's website and NEP Connect organizational management software to existing fire fighter peer support teams to strengthen their operations. On the disaster relief side, we will be working to ensure fire fighters have the resources they need before the disaster strikes and will be working with organizations on the ground to make sure fire fighters and their families affected by disaster are taken care of. A longer term goals of the foundation will be to create a national stockpile of equipment fire fighters need, but are not readily provided. This includes, but will not be limited to hoods, gloves, and other safety products that will help keep fire fighters safe.
