Net-Zero Poland

Net-Zero Poland Initiative aims to articulate pathways for achieving net-zero greenhouse gas emissions economy-wide in Poland by 2050 in support of the objectives of the Paris Agreement and European Union legislation. The conceptual framework and outcomes of the study are designed to inform energy-transition strategy, policy formulation, and investment decision-making in both the public and private sectors and at national, province and county geographies. With unprecedented spatial, temporal, sectoral and technological resolution, the NZP study is unique among modelling studies in describing net-zero energy-technology transition pathways for Poland and their socio-enviro-economic implications.
