The network Bio-PAT is a cooperation network in the field of bioanalytics and bioprocess control for improved characterization of bioprocesses in the following industries: Industrial biotechnology, food technology/nutrition, pharma/medical biotechnology, environmental technology and bioenergy.
We aim to support any cooperation between SME, research institutes, and major industrial enterprises with a focus on the developement of PAT in bioprocesses for improving bioprocess control. Increasing the product portfolio, visibility and innovation power of SME is a major aspect.
The interdisciplinary consortium is composed of developers and applicants of sensor technology & bioprocess monitoring, bioreactor design as well as (micro-)electronics & IT.
The network supports in: Networking between suppliers and applicants of PAT in bioprocesses; the preparation, coordination, and conduction of mutual research projects; marketing activities; the attendance at network-relevant fairs, conferences, congresses; the organization of events (seminars, workshops, (mini-)symposia); the preparation of and supply with material for teaching courses in the field of PAT in bioprocesses (advising support) and further individual services.
