Neuro Hero Ltd. is dedicated to researching and developing Speech and Language Therapy apps to help with word finding difficulties. Developed by Speech and Language Pathologists, our apps are currently used with patients living with conditions such as dementia, stroke, brain injury and aphasia.
Using evidence-based therapy techniques, our apps offer access to exercises that can be used on a daily basis by professionals such as SLPs and OTs or by caregivers in a home setting.
Improved Outcomes:
A recent case study using our 'Talk Around It' app for word finding difficulties reported improved naming of target items' over a 3 month period.
Neuro Hero aims to raise awareness of aphasia and promote speech recovery. Our work has been the recipient of awards from the Arthur Guinness Fund and Social Entrepreneurs Ireland.
