About New Lines Institute's MA in Strategy and Policy
Applications for the New Lines Institute's unique Master of Arts in Strategy and Policy are now open. This program comes with a full scholarship and paid part-time work experience at the Institute. We are currently accepting applicants from US residents till the 1st of April The next class begins on June 30, 2025. The program blends academic training in international affairs and hands-on policy research in a think tank environment. Our faculty of scholars and practitioners empower students to refine their analytical skills, craft policies, and master global communication strategies. This immersive, 12-month fellowship program combines rigorous academic instruction with applied research and analysis in a policy setting. The program emphasizes simultaneous, integrated and practical field experience. Working directly alongside New Lines staff, fellows will participate in the design and implementation of analysis, publications, and outreach to policymakers. As well as receiving guidance from experienced instructors and analytical staff with foreign and national security expertise who will advise them throughout the program, fellows will also have opportunities to publish their work directly with the New Lines Institute. This will allow them to create a portfolio of work to showcase to potential employers. Nestled in the heart of Washington, D.C., our program offers more than just a postgraduate degree; it’s a journey that equips you with practical skills, analytical acumen, and a robust professional network. Our fellows will have ready access to and the ability to network with foreign policy and national security professionals, diplomats, policymakers, and thought leaders.
