Here at Newark Brewing, we're inspired by history. Traditional Belgian and German styles influence our brews and we’re always working on mastering them. The name Newark holds an important place in Canadian history. Newark, was the first capital of Upper Canada and the birthplace of our nation's provincial parliament. On September 17, 1792, Colonel John Graves Simcoe opened the first provincial parliament in Newark. We chose this name to pay homage to our Canadian roots. Community plays an important role here at Newark Brewing. We’re proud to be a part of the Beamsville community and the gorgeous Niagara Peninsula. We’re also proud to be a part of the Welland Jackfish Baseball and Toronto Rock communities as their official craft beer!
