NewType was founded as a for-profit public benefit corporation to rapidly commercialize technology. NewType is addressing the small plastics particulate crisis by using machine learning and artificial intelligence to improve natural bacteria, allowing for the breakdown and consumption of nano/micro plastics in sewage treatment plants, industrial composters, soil, and bodies of water. NewType also partners with packaging and consumer companies to develop customized bio-circularity solutions. As part of our mission, NewType has launched low-cost commercial laboratory testing services to detect small plastic particles and PFAS in liquid and soil samples for federal, state, tribal, wastewater, and environmental organizations. We are happy to provide tours of our laboratory and headquarters located in Auburn, Washington on a scheduled basis.
