NexGen Materials is committed to helping our partners optimize their value in building the Renewables Storage and Power Transformation industries. The battery technology widely leveraged by Chinese manufacturers today traces its origins back to innovations made in the USA in the '90's. The US "gave up" it's market leading position to Asia when the principal drivers for battery technology were cost and size/weight, Chinese made iPhones/iPads drove the economies of scale that made China the world's battery source. With the explosive growth of battery storage needs in both EV's & Stationary Storage, battery manufacturing is moving back to the USA - sourcing and processing raw materials to feed those factories need to be US sourced as well. In addition there are multiple "Green" and "Greener" technologies that are critical to the Generation, Storage and Power Transfer industries... NexGen Materials will be a leader in helping find, process and deliver those resources.
