NextDems is a forward-thinking non-profit organization dedicated to connecting and helping students who are aspiring to enter the world of Democratic politics. Many young leaders encounter challenges when pursuing internships and fellowships that are often unpaid or offer minimal compensation, making it difficult for those with limited resources to participate. These obstacles can deter capable, passionate individuals from taking the first steps toward a career in public service. Our mission at NextDems is to connect students with political and government internships, while simultaneously providing fellowship programs that help cover living expenses, travel, and other associated costs. This support allows talented students from a wide range of backgrounds to gain valuable experiences, mentorships, and networking opportunities in Democratic politics. By opening doors for those who may otherwise face financial hurdles, we help cultivate a political landscape that better reflects the diversity and energy of our nation.
