"UNMUKT is a non-profit organization committed to fostering social, economic, and cultural development in marginalized communities. Established in 1995 in Madhubani, Bihar, and registered under the Society Registration Act 1860/21, our mission is to empower disadvantaged groups, including Dalits, women, children, the elderly, and individuals with disabilities, enabling them to actively participate in the development process. Our core initiatives span women empowerment, education, health and family welfare, environmental sustainability, disaster management, and rural development. Additionally, we are expanding our focus to include innovative agricultural practices and wastewater management to promote sustainable livelihoods and environmental preservation. With a strong emphasis on capacity building, vocational training, and awareness programs, UNMUKT supports self-reliance and resilience in communities. From disaster relief and rehabilitation for flood victims to advocating for rural rights and governance under the Panchayati Raj system, we aim to drive meaningful change at every level.
