The Data and Computation (D&C) research group was founded in 2020 as part of the GANAP (Gravity, Astrophysics, Nuclear and Particle Physics) laboratory of the National Institute of Physics at the University of the Philippines Diliman (UP-NIP).
Our group pursues curiosity-driven and innovative research in the fields of data-driven astrophysics and computational physics, leveraging open data and open-source machine learning and artificial intelligence tools for a broad range of applications.
