The National Institute of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj (NIRDPR) is a premier national centre under the Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India. It plays a key role in training, research, and consultancy in the areas of rural development and Panchayati Raj.
Location: Main campus is at Hyderabad, Telangana. A North-Eastern Regional Centre (NERC) is located in Guwahati, Assam.

Research and policy formulation in rural development.
