New Mexico Coalition of Sexual Assault Programs

NMCSAP leads the state’s efforts to reduce sexual abuse and sexual violence by providing training and technical assistance to service providers, law enforcement officers, prosecutors, medical practitioners, and mental health professionals. NMCSAP also collects and analyzes sexual assault and domestic violence data and produces annual reports of the findings. NMCSAP and our partners empower and support New Mexicans in preventing, responding to, and healing from sexual violence with a data-driven, evidence-based, social justice response. This response emphasizes the incidence and prevalence of sexual violence, social determinants, health outcomes, protective factors, legal and programmatic intervention, treatment, collaboration, and primary prevention.
