NOFMA is a dynamic organization registered by a group of passionate young healthcare professionals from the Arid and Semi-Arid Land (ASAL) counties of Kenya. Recognizing the unique challenges faced by these regions due to geographical constraints and economic disparities, NOFMA was established with a profound commitment to addressing the dire needs of the community. Operational areas primarily in Mandera, Marsabit, Samburu and Isiolo Counties, it is strategically positioned within the heart of communities facing significant health disparities. THEMATIC AREAS ENTAILS: 1.PROMOTIVE AND PREVENTIVE HEALTH: Focusing on proactive measures to prevent diseases and promote overall well-being. 2. SEXUAL REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH RIGHTS (SRHR): Ensuring access to comprehensive SRHR services and information. 3. WOMEN AND GENDER RIGHTS: Promoting gender equality and advocating for women's rights. 4. HEALTH AND CLIMATE JUSTICE: Addressing the intersection of health and environmental challenges in the context of climate change. 5. WATER, SANITATION, AND HYGIENE (WASH): Facilitating initiatives to improve water access, sanitation, and hygiene practices.
