Norman Pride Inc.

Norman Pride is a non-profit organization that was created to promote advocacy and provide support for our local LGBTQ+ community. In addition to our annual Pride Weekend, we promote community engagement by hosting smaller local events throughout the year. Through collaboration with other organizations, we're able to extend our outreach, strengthen existing programs, and get new projects up and running. Building alliances is what creates momentum and delivers results. In August 2019, Norman made history by amending the city's Civil Rights Ordinance and becoming the most inclusive city in Oklahoma! The organizations and individuals who worked together to see it through from the beginning are an inspiration for us all - this is how to make things happen. We are committed to working alongside our community partners and allies to provide safe spaces and opportunities to celebrate and strengthen our LGBTQ+ community and to advocate for the diversity that defines the city of Norman.
