NorthEast was founded in 1998 when The Sonepar Group made its first US acquisition, purchasing two Boston-based electrical supply branches. Now boasting more than 30 locations throughout the New England region, NorthEast has 55+ delivery trucks, nearly 500 employees and a 24-hour CDC stocking over 30,000 SKU’s.
NorthEast was the launch pad for Sonepar’s US growth and is currently made up of 15 operating companies throughout all 50 states. Sonepar-USA is a member of the Sonepar Group, an independent family-owned company with global market leadership in B-to-B distribution of electrical products and related solutions.
