Upcycle fashion brand Nouvalue creates one of a kind unique styles far away from mass-production. Single items or small editions are put together like a music album. Nouvalue’s styles are dropped outside the conventional calendar; no season, no time or urge, and offered when ready. Revitalizing ‘forgotten’ items creating new value to vintage styles or by creative re-use of unwanted garments, altered to become new to-be loved items.. Heart of the brand, Nouvalue’s vision is to design clothes based on comfort, feeling and sentiment, combining an easy going vibe, everything sports related, muses from earlier eras, as well as music and art. As Nouvalue Vera and Alma, designers of the brand, want to contribute to an ultimate circular economy offering unique pieces and full size ranges using a 3 category approach: Re-Loved: Customized vintage or pre-owned items curated with love and altered with passion. Re-Used: Samples and old collections redesigned into new styles. Re-Valued: Made from salvaged, reclaimed fabrics or tournated from lost treasures. The studio of Nouvalue is based outside the Amsterdam area in the slower paced province. The company strives to design, develop and produce close to home in the Netherlands or other EU countries to minimize the environmental footprint. Even before the Nouvalue story began, Vera and Alma cherished a love to run a fashion label away from the traditional dictated, fast moving and demanding fashion calendar. Noouvalue is built on new values with daily aim to do better; slow down, give back and have fun.
