NRP Project Finance is a leading Norwegian manager of direct investments within shipping and offshore. We develop our projects through proactive cooperation and close dialogue with shipowners, shipbrokers, advisors, and commercial banks.
We have experience from dry bulk, container, tanker, LPG, RoRo, MPP, Heavy Lift and reefers within shipping. In the offshore sector, we have experience from PSV, AHTS, Subsea, Construction, and seismic. We have been involved in more than 220 transactions and currently have about USD 520 million (Q2-2023) under management. Our sweet spot is sale-leaseback with bareboat contracts, providing a fixed-income product. Given the right market environment, we also carry out asset play transactions with shorter holding periods.
NRP assists shipowners and investors on a global basis with different sources of financing. The focus is to find the right source of funding for each owner with an optimal mix of leverage, profiles, and cost for each project through our extensive network with different capital sources. We have experience with assisting owners with sourcing and executing Asian leases (both Japanese and Chinese), alternative lending (direct lending), baby bonds, regular bank financing, and other types of sale-leaseback solutions within several different sectors.
