The North Shore Disability Resource Centre was established in 1976 by a group of parents, professionals and advocates who wanted to create services to ensure that people with disabilities could live comfortably in their communities. For more than 40 years, we have continued to expand our mandate and services, and now offer a wide range of community- and residence-based programs and services for individuals of all ages.
We are the only organization on the North Shore of Vancouver that assists anyone, regardless of age, with any kind of disability. We connect people with special needs with programs and services that help them to live with dignity, freedom and joy. We distinguish ourselves through an extraordinary team of professionals who provide exceptional and consistent individualized support to those we serve.
