About Navy Special Operations Foundation
Our Mission and Vision is Carried out in their Honor: This foundation was founded in memory of Senior Chief Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technician Scott Dayton and all our brothers who have paid the ultimate sacrifice in defense of this nation. Formed by active or former members and their spouses, our guiding principles are driven by the strong bonds created during nearly two decades of combat around the globe. We understand through our experience what our families and operators need so they can stay in the fight and persevere through the most difficult circumstances. Mission: To ensure our families are provided with all the tools necessary to overcome any challenges they may face, and let them know they are never alone in the fight! Vision: To be an innovative and dynamic organization that exists to empower our families and to meet the challenges of the future as a united community. NSOF Values: Integrity -This organization exists for the sole purpose of meeting the very diverse needs of our operators and their families, and providing compassionate and exceptional services which have been meticulously vetted. Every person working on behalf of NSOF will work towards achieving the betterment of our community above their own individual interests without exception. Professionalism -Each and every member of NSOF, or those acting on its behalf, will conduct business as the utmost courteous, empathetic, and passionate professionals without exception. All directors, staff, and volunteers will carry out their duties in a manner that is conducive to the extremely important mission they are working to carry out. -Aggressiveness This organization will be forward-leaning, innovative, and will aggressively work 24/7 for the operators and families it is entrusted to serve. We will never be satisfied with the status quo but rather we will constantly work towards unlocking new potential and surpassing new milestones.
