NSR Innovations Ltd offers consultancy and advice in the fields of process development - especially for powders and soft solids - and Intellectual Property. This consultancy is based on my 26 years of experience in R&D at Procter and Gamble where I finished my career as Research Fellow. During my P&G career I was extensively involved in general powders processing - including new product development, plant design and commissioning, granulation, raw material specifications and general troubleshooting. I also have considerable experience in complex fluids processing and PVA soluble film processing and handling. I am a visiting Lecturer/Research Fellow at the Universities of Leeds, Sheffield and Birmingham. This is giving me very good connections in the field of powder/particle developments as well as very good understanding of the state of the art. I have extensive experience in Intellectual Property. I am not an attorney but have been an inventor on over 150 separate patent applications. This has given me a thorough knowledge of all stages of the patenting process including strategy development, prior art mapping and oppositions. It is my experience that many inventors - very naturally - take a narrow view of their inventions and do not spend enough time looking at their IP portfolio through the eyes of their competitors.
